Risk Disclosure

Memecoins are among the riskiest things you can buy. Read this before you trade, launch or play on paperhandz. It is part of the Terms of Service. It does not list every risk.

1.You can lose everything

Memecoins have no intrinsic value, no cash flows, no issuer standing behind them and no protection of any kind. Most lose all or nearly all of their value, often within minutes or hours of launch. Only use money you can afford to lose entirely, and never borrowed money.

2.Memecoins are not stable

Prices can rise or fall by more than 90% in minutes, with no news and no reason. A coin that is trending, near the top of a list, about to graduate or on a board can collapse on the next trade. Past moves say nothing about future ones.

3.Bonding curves and liquidity

On pump.fun, prices are set by a bonding curve that moves with every trade; after graduation, by a pool that can be thin. Large trades move prices a lot. Selling can give back far less than you paid, and there may be no one to sell to at a price you expected.

4.Creators, insiders and bots

Anyone can create a coin, including people who intend to deceive. Creators and large holders can sell everything at any time (“rug pulls”). Coins can impersonate people, brands or other coins. Automated traders (“snipers”, MEV bots) often buy in the first seconds and sell into later buyers. Some coins are launched purely to extract money from buyers.

paperhandz does not vet, verify or endorse any coin. Names, images, descriptions and links come from creators and can be false.

5.Rankings and boards can be gamed

The front page’s lists are arithmetic on public trading activity, and trading activity can be faked: wash trading, bots and coordinated buying can push any coin up a list. Likes, entries and leaderboards can be coordinated, bought or botted despite our limits. A place on the front page or a rank on a board is not a signal of quality, safety or value.

6.Prizes are not guaranteed

The season pot is whatever the community vault holds when a season closes. It depends entirely on trading in $PAPER, which can stop at any time, so the pot can be small or zero. Ranks can change until the close, entries can be rejected and wallets disqualified. Trading to chase a prize costs fees and exposes you to every risk on this page; the prize will almost always be worth less than what you put at risk.

7.About the fumble board

The fumble board rewards having sold before a coin traded higher. It can never be a reason to buy or sell: other people’s trades decide whether a fumble exists, and the prize for it may be tiny or nothing.

8.Everything is final

There is no demo mode: every transaction uses real SOL on Solana mainnet. Transactions are irreversible. Mistakes (wrong amount, wrong coin, a malicious transaction you signed) cannot be undone by anyone.

9.Software, network and wallet risk

The interface and our servers may contain bugs. pump.fun can change or upgrade its programs. Solana can be congested or halt. RPC nodes, data feeds and gateways can fail or show stale or wrong data. Wallets can have bugs or be compromised. Any of these can cause failed, delayed or unintended transactions, wrong scores and losses.

10.The $PAPER coin

$PAPER is a memecoin like any other, with the same risks. It counts for nothing on paperhandz and gives no rights of any kind. The team holds some and may sell all of it at any time. It can go to zero.

Laws on crypto-assets, contests and prizes change fast and differ by country. A coin, a trade, a prize or the use of this site may be restricted or taxed where you are, and access may be withdrawn at any time. You are responsible for your own compliance and tax reporting.

12.Scams around you

Scammers impersonate sites, teams and support staff. paperhandz will never ask for your seed phrase or private key, never DM you first, never ask you to send funds to “verify”, “claim” or “unlock” a prize (prizes are sent to you; you never pay to receive one), and only writes from legal@paperhandz.fun.
