Season Rules

These are the official rules of the fumble board, the weekly game of paperhandz. They are part of the Terms of Service. Read the Risk Disclosure too.

1.The organiser

The game is organised by the operator of paperhandz, reachable at legal@paperhandz.fun. It is not sponsored, endorsed or run by pump.fun, Solana, X, Farcaster or any other platform.

2.Who can take part

  • People aged 18 or over who can legally take part where they live, and who are not in the United Kingdom, France or its territories, or a sanctioned jurisdiction, and are not on a sanctions list.
  • One person, one wallet. Using several wallets, or acting for someone else, disqualifies every wallet involved for the season.
  • The team, the community vault, the team’s treasury and wallets the team controls never rank.
  • Where this game is not allowed by local law, it is void.

Scores in this game come from trading coins launched on paperhandz. Trading costs fees and you can lose everything you trade. No prize is worth that risk; never trade to chase one.

3.Seasons

A season is one week, from Monday 00:00 UTC to the next Monday 00:00 UTC. Seasons are numbered from 5 January 2026 (season 1). A season closes 30 minutes after it ends, so late trades and reviews land; the board is then frozen into a manifest whose SHA-256 hash is published on the vault page.

4.How to play

  1. Sell a coin launched on paperhandz, on this site or anywhere else.
  2. We note the price you got for every token you sold.
  3. If the coin later trades higher, tokens sold × (higher price − your price) is your fumble, in SOL.
  4. Your single biggest fumble of the week is your score. The top 25 split the pot.

5.Scoring

  • Only sells of at least 0.05 SOL count.
  • The higher price is the highest price the coin traded at after your sell, up to 7 days later and never past the end of the season, set by other wallets’ trades: buying it back up yourself does not count.
  • Sells by the coin’s launcher and by wallets that bought in the launch block or the two slots after it (about the first second) do not count.
  • Buying back and selling again to repeat a fumble does not stack: only your single biggest fumble counts.
  • Ties go to the wallet that reached its score first.
  • Scores are computed from public blockchain data and moderators’ decisions by the formulas published on this site. If data is missing (for example an RPC outage), we complete it from the chain before the season closes where we can; otherwise the board stands as recorded.

6.The pot

The pot of a season is what the paperhandz community vault holds when the season closes, minus prizes of earlier seasons that are still owed from it, minus 0.02 SOL kept for network fees. Just before the close, the creator fees pump.fun has accrued are pushed out, so the latest 5% is included. The vault is funded only by pump.fun’s fee-sharing program, which sends it 5% of the creator fees pump.fun pays on $PAPER trades; that share is locked on chain (see the 5%). The pot can be small or zero. Prizes are not guaranteed.

Nobody adds to the pot by playing, and nothing you buy, sell or hold increases your share of it except by ranking in the game.

7.Prizes

The top 25 wallets share the pot by rank, as a share of the pot:

  • rank 1: 25.05%
  • rank 2: 15.00%
  • rank 3: 10.00%
  • rank 4: 7.00%
  • rank 5: 6.00%
  • rank 6: 5.00%
  • rank 7: 4.00%
  • rank 8: 3.00%
  • rank 9: 2.50%
  • rank 10: 2.50%
  • ranks 11 to 25: 1.33% each

Ranks nobody fills, and prizes under 0.001 SOL, are not paid and stay in the vault for later seasons. Prizes are paid in SOL.

Equal scores are ordered by who reached the score first, then by wallet address. A wallet can win at most one prize per season. The team’s own wallets (the fee-sharing config’s admin and every shareholder, including the treasury and the vault) never rank.

8.Payment

  • Prizes are sent from the vault to the wallet that ranked, normally within 14 days of the close and often within the hour when the site pays automatically. You do not need to claim them. Only the amounts in the published manifest are ever paid.
  • Before payment, every winning wallet is screened against sanctions lists. A wallet that fails, or that we reasonably believe broke these rules, is not paid, and its prize stays in the vault.
  • Every payment’s transaction is published on the vault page and checked on chain.
  • You are responsible for any tax on a prize.

9.Disqualification

We may remove scores, entries or wallets from a board, before or after a close, for any breach of these rules or the terms, including: bots and scripts, several wallets, collusion, wash trading or self-dealing, buying or trading likes, fake or stolen content, spam, breaking a platform’s rules, or anything unlawful. Moderators’ decisions are final for the season.

10.Changes and cancellation

We may change these rules, the scoring or the prize table for future seasons, and we may cancel or suspend a season (for example for abuse, a bug or a legal requirement); a cancelled season’s pot stays in the vault for later seasons. Changes never apply to a season that has already closed.

11.Publicity and privacy

The board shows wallet addresses and scores publicly, and the vault page shows prizes and their transactions. We do not ask for your name. See the Privacy Policy.
